Public Democracy was invited to the White House COVID Research Task Force because of our breakthroughs in mapping COVID spread in the spring of 2020. We used those same empathy-based tools to complete the first-ever fully-inclusive population level clinical trial on COVID infection. And our work in developing better understanding around vaccine attitudes and proven tools to empower communities has resulted in partnerships with the National Urban League, Kaiser Permanente, National Minority Quality Forum, and Fair Count that helped reshaped US COVID vaccine eligibility criteria. ➔ Identify the hotels being used as brothels for sex trafficking, which girls were being sent where, and how Johns were accessing the system;
➔ Lead recruitment for the case against Monsanto over RoundUp’s role in causing cancer;
➔ Created new behavioral mapping and engagement tools to build markets and draw investment to America’s most impoverished regions in ways that reflect community priorities and values.
