EMILEE LORD

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

As Director of Communications, Emilee leads internal and external communications strategy and development of content and messaging for cause-marketing and social impact digital campaigns. She joined Public Democracy because of her commitment to making sure people are heard and the belief that technology is the best way to both amplify diverse voices and connect people around the world through common ground and values-based conversations.

Emilee joined Public Democracy after completing her Fulbright year in Medellin, Colombia. She graduated from Davidson College, cum laude, and worked as a Press Fellow in the US House of Representatives. Emilee is from Black Mountain, North Carolina.
